I joined Sibbalds in January 1997 and deal mainly with corporate accounts and taxation matters. I have considerable experience with Sage 50 Accounts and also have a reasonable understanding of other accounting software packages, such as QuickBooks, Xero and a number of payroll packages. I can also assist with software installation and the simpler IT hardware and networking issues.
Qualifications and Experience
I have worked in practice ever since leaving school in 1979 and have worked at some of the larger city centre firms during this time. I have experience in a wide spectrum of services, including audit, corporate and personal taxation, HMRC investigations, forecasts, VAT and payroll.
What I enjoy most about the role
I deal with clients on a personal basis and enjoy working with them in order to obtain a sound understanding of their business.
Things I enjoy doing outside of Sibbalds
I am married, have a son and a daughter and two step daughters, who have all thankfully left home! I also have four lovely grandchildren, who tend to get spoilt rotten. In my spare time I enjoy watching football and follow Derby County. I also like to travel and enjoy many a relaxing time in the sunnier climes of Lanzarote and the not so sunnier climes of Wales.
