After attending and completing a foundation course in Accountancy at Staffordshire University Katie joined Sibbalds in 1990 as an articled clerk.
Katie left in 1994 to have and raise 3 children and also worked from home dealing with the financial side of her sisters IT Consultancy company. She returned to work for Sibbalds on a part time basis in 2007.
In the little spare time that Katie has she likes to cook, experimenting with different dishes, reading and at every opportunity, spending time with her family in her favourite place, Salcombe in South Devon (where she visits twice a year religiously!).
