We’re Thrilled to Announce Katie Walton as the Latest Addition to Our Team in the Role of Accountant.
Social Secretary and Senior Accountant, Rachel Hickie, recently organised a fantastic team away day.
The team got together for an afternoon of Go-Karting at Motorsport, Nottingham. It seemed that a few individuals showed their competitive streak and were spotted bumping into each other or spinning out in the battle to overtake and attempt to reach the 40mph max speed of the kart.
The second heat was just as dramatic as everyone set out on track, determined to beat their times from heat one and climb up the leader board. The results showed very few seconds between each participant, with Director Jay Durow coming out on top.
The team then returned to Derby for a curry at the Spice Lounge, where it was discussed who had been crashing into the others and who had been flagged by the marshals to ‘calm down’ in their bid to win the heats!
It was great to properly welcome our newest team members, Chloe Jefford and Che Jackson and get back to normality after Covid.
Next stop… Uttoxeter Racecourse for Ladies Day in July!
