With the countdown to Christmas well underway Sibbalds’ staff have again been busy collecting gifts to donate to Children First Derby as part of their annual Reverse Advent Calendar Campaign.
Children First is a Derby based charity working with children, young people and families, their aim being to make a positive impact in their lives and in the local community. For some children the gifts donated by the staff at Sibbalds will be the only ones they receive this Christmas.
Margaret Woodbridge from Children First was over the moon with the donations when she stopped by at the Sibbalds’ offices to collect the gifts. To find out more about the work Children First do go to: www.childrenfirstderby.co.uk.
As part of “Christmas Jumper Day”, we have been busy raising much needed funds for Save The Children (text TEAMSIBBALDS to 70050 if you want to donate). We all donned our Christmas Jumpers, held a festive quiz, had a delicious buffet, played “Stick the nose on James Blunt” and also there was a game of guess the Christmas Present, which was won by Alison Webster who received a bottle of Champagne!
To say thank you to the team, we have also invited in Tina Sarker, from Corporate Massage Therapy, to for some seated accu-pressure massage or Indian Head Massage for the team, as a little thank you for their hard work this year.
In total we have raised over £100 for Save The Children, and had lots of fun doing it.
