We have decided to have a brief recap of what was achieved in 2012, as well as our hopes and aspirations for the year ahead.
2012 was our best ever year as a company, with 4 new members of staff joining us. We signed up 9 big new clients throughout the year as well as maintaining a great working relationship with our current clients. One member of staff successfully completed their AAT, and Hari Vasdev became a shareholder.
We held our very first seminar at Pride Park Stadium, and this proved to be a roaring success. The seminar was a new experience for the company, and something we will be looking at again in 2013.
On a sadder note, one of our longest serving members of staff- Roger Hill – retired, having joined the company as a partner aged 22 in 1970. We wish him all the best in his retirement.
So what exactly does 2013 hold for us as a company? Well the exciting news is that we are predicting further growth of between 10% and 15% in 2013. We are launching some new services, and feel that there will be a lot of deal activity in 2013 – which will certainly keep us busy.
We’re looking into the possibility of hosting another seminar, and also plan to attend regular networking events to meet as many of you Derby business people as we can.
We have launched our new interactive blog (which you are reading now), and are going to delve further into the world of social marketing; something not many accountants are currently doing.
All that’s left to say is thank you for your support in 2012, and we wish you all a successful and rewarding year for 2013.
