I re-joined Sibbalds in September 2022 as client manager having spent over ten years with the firm previously. I look after my own portfolio of clients ensuring their accountancy and taxation affairs are up to date as well as being on hand whenever needed to answer queries or resolve any issues.
Qualifications and Experience
I have worked in the accountancy profession since October 2007 after completing A Levels in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I then completed my Level 4 AAT qualification whilst working at Sibbalds in October 2010.
What I enjoy most about the role
I enjoy helping clients to succeed in business as well as mentoring the junior members of the team. My past job working in a pub I believe has made me an approachable person who is able to get on with everyone both clients and other members of the team well.
Things I enjoy doing outside of Sibbalds
Outside of Sibbalds, I spend time with family and friends which usually involves a pint of beer or two! I also enjoy watching and playing football when I can. The team I follow is Derby County and hoping for better times again. Who knows one day we might do a Leicester City!
Something you might now know about me
I have identical twin sons called Dylan and Archie and have two Shichon dogs (cross between Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise) called Ella and Maisie. I was also part of a football team when I was ten years old who managed to get into the Guinness Book of World Records in 1998 for taking part in a match that had the longest ever penalty shoot-out. 66 penalties were missed in total and even moving the penalty spot closer to the goal did not help!
