David Bowler, Partner at Sibbalds Chartered Accountants
David is a Chartered Certified Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, with over 20 years’ of experience in the profession, the last 11 of which have been gained during his role as Director at Sibbalds. David’s key strengths include business planning and development, business strategy, and tax planning.
David will be explaining how the application process for funding usually works, what information will be required, and how to maximise your chances of success. He will also expand on this, to help you make the best use of the information produced to increase your sales and profits. Alongside this, David has some practical tax planning tips for businesses to consider in 2020, that could save you thousands of pounds.
Tom Rainsford, Senior Relationship Manager at NatWest
Tom has been in banking for 8 years within the East Midlands across a variety of customer facing roles. Most recently he has taken on the role of Senoir Relationship Manager supporting a wide range of businesses with their banking and funding needs within Derbyshire.
He will be discussing the types of finance available to you from your local high street banks, including both traditional and innovative forms of finance, and how you can use these to support business growth ambitions.
Sukhveer Chirrimar, Finance for Enterprise
Sukhveer Chirrimar joined Finance For Enterprise in April 2019 after spending six years working with businesses in the local region and helping them to raise funding in the Responsible Finance sector. Sukhveer is an experienced lender who helps and supports businesses in the region. Sukhveer is passionate about reaching out to businesses that require alternative finance to support them grow their business.
I will discuss on the funds we have to offer to help businesses, from Start Up Loans for entrepreneurs that are looking to start or have started their own business, or for our larger loans for existing businesses that are already trading.
John O’Donnel, Business Finance Manager for D2N2 Growth Hub
John has worked in business consultancy and advice for over 10 years following a corporate career in hospitality, working in Marketing and Operational Management for the Rank group, Tom Cobleigh and Marstons.
He has spent time in commercial finance working with SME Invoice Finance and has successfully helped businesses to raise funds through debt and equity routes. He’s owned businesses himself and understands the challenges that businesses can face.
