I started at Sibbalds in 1990 as an article clerk, I left in 1994 to have children and returned part time in 2007. My main role is Book keeping, Management Accounts and the preparation and submission of VAT Returns. I specialise in Sage and Xero.
Qualifications and Experience
I attended North Staffordshire University, completing a Foundation Course in Accounting.
Whilst raising my children I was a Director of Abfab Consultancy Ltd, a software consultancy company , working from home, my role being financial and administrative and I also run the administrative and financial side of my husband’s Art Gallery.
What I enjoy most about the role
I enjoy that I have set clients who know I am their first point of contact and that I am always there to help them with any queries and problems they have and I am very approachable.
Things I enjoy doing outside of Sibbalds
I am married to (James) Jim and have three daughters, Charlotte, Bethany and Chloe, who take up a lot of my time, and a lot of time in the bathroom! I like cooking, reading and music, my favourite band being Muse who I have seen in concert numerous times. I like spending time with my family, in our favourite place, Salcombe and the surrounding area, where we visit two or three times a year.
