Jennifer Mottershead joins us as a Trainee Accountant

We’re delighted to welcome Jennifer Mottershead to the Sibbalds team.

Qualifications and experience

Jennifer left school with 10 GCSE’s A*- B and went on to study biology, sociology and business studies at A level.

Upon finishing her studies she has gained valuable skills through work that she will now use in her career in accountancy going forward.

What I like about my role

I enjoy being exposed to all the different parts of the business and learning how it all comes together to provide a fantastic service to our clients.

Things I enjoy outside Sibbalds

I am a keen competitor at horse riding during my spare time. I like walking and take advantage of living in the Peak District.

Something you might not know about me

I can play the piano up to grade 5.

Glentworth Security transferred our accounting to Sibbalds in 2013.

During this time Hari and his team have provided excellent support to us through completing regular management accounts and telephone support.

In 2023 Hari was involved in my purchase of Coast Services (UK) Ltd.

Not only did he do an excellent job in assisting with the process which at times was stressful he and his team took on additional work allowing me to concentrate on completing a smooth purchase.

As part of this process Sibbalds have:
- Taken on completion of management accounts for both Glentworth Security Ltd and Coast Services (UK) Ltd.
- Assisted with the implementation of Xero in both companies.
- Provided support for invoicing and payment reconciliation.
- Completion of P11d’s
- Payroll

Payroll Manager

Chris is a payroll professional with 20 years’ experience from small through to large corporate businesses. He holds the CIPP Management Diploma, graduating in 2001, a BA Honours Degree in HR, and has recently attained the Certificate in Practice – Auto Enrolment with the Pensions Management Institute. Chris’s role is to ensure that we perform to the highest standards and provide the very best service for each individual client, whatever their needs.
