Employees abusing the communal photocopier, disgruntled workers peeing in the boss’s pot plants, the office secretary taking pity on the person who’s been sending her flirty emails about stationery all year round!
We’ve all heard the stories about Christmas Parties gone wrong, but what about those who want their Christmas Parties to run smoothly, without any hiccups?
Christmas is not far away and a Christmas party can be the perfect way to start the festive period and celebrate the end of a year’s work. Whilst everybody looks forward to festive fun, it is important that employers take pre-emptive action to reduce their risk of any liability claims that could arise from throwing a Christmas Party.
We would like to make sure that none of you are caught out in this way. In fact, we want you to enjoy your Christmas Parties. So on Thursday 5th December we are running a half day “Christmas Party Dos & Don’ts Seminar” that will give you great tips on what you can and cannot do as a business with employees. The seminar will also cover general Employment Law and Health & Safety matters and you will be free to ask questions. The seminar is taking place at Breadsall Priory, A Marriott Hotel & Country Club.
The seminar will feature our expert guest speaker, Clive Oliver, whose fast paced presentation will make clear the importance of keeping your business up to date with the constant changes in employment law and health & safety legislation. There will be complimentary coffee on arrival, as well as mulled wine and lunch included, with the event starting at 9.30am and coming to a close at 1pm.
The seminar is free of charge and without obligation. It is being run in association with Tax Wise Rewards, the company who deal with our fee protection insurance.
Pre-booking is required and can be done by clicking this link.
