Due to continued growth, a vacancy has arisen for an experienced full-time book-keeper to join our outsourcing department based at our offices in Derby.
You will be responsible for processing the financial data for a variety of businesses using Sage or Xero, on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis – either in our offices, or at client’s premises – up to trial balance stage. In addition, you will be assisting clients to set up book-keeping software and systems (primarily Xero) and training them on how to use it.
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably gained within a number of different businesses or an accountancy practice and have excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
High level knowledge of Sage and Xero is essential, with an awareness of the various add-ons and applications that can be used with them would be a distinct advantage. Possessing a recognised qualification such as AAT or IAB/ICB would be advantageous.
