Roger is Derby born and bred having been trained by Cooper-Parry with whom he qualified in 1970. He joined Sibbalds (then known as James Sibbald, Forsyth & Farnsworth) upon qualification and proceeded straight in to partnership later that year at the tender age of 22.

Over the years Roger has developed a wide range of specialisms which means that, amongst his more “normal” duties,  he now takes responsibility for a variety of different assignments including doctors, dentists, charities, schools, solicitors etc.

Roger has been a keen local sportsman over the years playing football, cricket, tennis, badminton and golf at various representative levels. He currently only plays golf and is clinging on to a single figure handicap which he has held for 25 years. He is a Rams fan and a Derbyshire Cricket Club member and in each case he holds a season ticket with hope rather than expectation.
